A fever comes and there’s no tellin when you’ll be sick At least there’s a sign, it gives you time to prepare for it The temperatures cold in the summer My skin turns black and white Her love is ever present My heart is out of her sight A house is a home that you call your hospital bed The reason for the seasons is for the change that we never had The temperatures cold in the summer My skin turns black and white Her love is ever present My heart is out of her sight The temperatures cold in the summer My skin turns black and white Her love is ever present My heart is out of her sight

Waiting 03:03
I’ve been waiting many years for my train to come I’ve been waiting so long, I’ve lost track it’s like time has won I’m sick of looking up and down to see no car to be found I’ve been waiting many years for my train to come My old man Billy, he up and ran away It’s like every other thing in life, he was not here to stay He was here to take my money, slap my face and steal my shoes My old man Billy ran away I was locked up in that jail cell for way too many years Shake and twist and lose my mind, always end in tears My cell mate was a pessimist who couldn’t see the light I was locked up in that cell too many years I’ve been waiting many years for my train to come

When you’re feeling all alone And you’re miles away from home Talk to me When you’re feeling out and down And you know what it’s about Come talk to me When you only see them for a couple of days All of your problems get washed away They are the cure for all life’s complications But I guess it all depends on your family situation You’ve got my father, he’s a go getter He love’s his family, he taught me the guitar He’s as wise, as a wise man can be Now there’s my mother, she’s got a heart of gold She has an old soul, who’s standing two fold She teaches the way of life Now there’s my brother, so calm and patient But get under his skin, and he won’t take it He’s my rock, he’s everything I want to be When you only see them for a couple of days All of your problems get washed away They are the cure for all life’s complications But I guess it all depends on your family situation When you only see them for a couple of days All of your problems get washed away They are the cure for all life’s complications But I guess it all depends on your family situation

Walking through the field on the cloudiest day ever All the rebel kin are lying by the fire Distant memories of a night that seemed to never happen Swept up in the dust are the ones who light my candle What did I do to make you feel this way How has your soul become so desolate We were lovers at a different pace Who did I wrong to deserve this fate Standing through the tears and the crippled backs of where we started Shaken and revealed are the maimed and the broken hearted What did I do to make you feel this way How has your soul become so desolate We were lovers at a different pace Who did I wrong to deserve this fate What did I do to make you feel this way How has your soul become so desolate We were lovers at a different pace Who did I wrong to deserve this fate

Laughing is the sound of joy Crying is the sound of pain Laugh at you without a name Crying with another boy Future’s supposed to bring you hope Something that we used to hold Near and dear to both our hearts We’ll laugh until we think we choke Where’ve all the good people gone Where’ve all the good people gone Where’ve all the good people gone Where’ve all the good people gone Run away like you were young Make a life on your own You don’t have the means to do so But you still learn what’s important though Where’ve all the good people gone Where’ve all the good people gone Where’ve all the good people gone Where’ve all the good people gone

There’s always truth to your sadness No matter what they say There’s always method to your madness But there’s no madness to portray I’ve got the gift of an angel In the palm of my hand Just gotta reach out there and grasp it But it seems like nobody can I know that we We all share the same dream Of growing old, living like them TV shows but We know that’s not possible We all live our separate lives Make our separate times I love the first signs of summer It reminds me of who I found All those people; loving and caring Marking their place without a sound All their fires burning brightly All those eyes that watch me sing I know one day we’ll be reminded Of what this place used to be I know that we We all share the same dream Of growing old, living like them TV shows but We know that’s not possible We all live our separate lives Make our separate times And when that day falls upon us We’ll say our last goodbye’s I know I’ll miss you She knows she’ll miss us too I know that we We all share the same dream Of growing old, living like them TV shows but We know that’s not possible We all live our separate lives Make our separate times

I’d cut my hair and change my name I’d run away and take the blame For everything that I ever did to you Rolling, Rolling, Rolling on The speed of life is way too strong And I can’t find it in myself to go along Ohhhhh Life is way too short Ohhhhh Life is way too short They think that I’m immune to their words But little do they know they sting and the burn Then they go around just to say that “I’m foolin you” All I want is to catch my fill Life as a whole has lost his thrill And the novelty has ran its course Like I knew it would Ohhhhh Life is way too short Ohhhhh Life is way too short And I sing ohh

about

This thing called music that we, as the human race, are united by is something that I have spent my whole life based around. This EP is a collection of words, melodies and chords that originated from some of the darkest and brightest moments in my life. I hope that as you listen, you too can relate.

A very special thanks to my parents Jack, Joanne and my brother Jordan for their constant support and love of my music. Special thanks to Pat Fockler and Jesse Hildebrand-Nestor for stepping in and helping me carry this project to the end. Special thanks to Mike Roth for helping with the sequence and to Dan Brodbeck for being a huge source of inspiration during the mixing process.

Lastly, I hope you enjoy the journey this EP takes you on, as much as I have enjoyed the journey creating it.
